Subjects studied in Grade Three in Afghanistan Schools

1. Quranic Studies:

Level 3 school year tinkers with the memorization of more extensive Surahs and increases their fluency in Quranic recitation. The syllabus keeps a balance between the technical aspects of Tajweed and explaining the meanings of the verses thus making the students more excited toward the memorization of some complex Quranic verses.

 

2. Islamic Studies:

This one is a newer one and is more advanced than those before introducing the learners to the history, rituals, and ethics of Islam. Besides learning about the lives of different Prophets and important Islamic events, they also learn how these Qur’anic values can build their moral characters. However, it further deepens their understanding of the principles to guide their actions and character. Besides, the students have interesting discussions where their moral thinking is challenged/questions and so are encouraged to innovate/amend their moral thinking.

 

3. Pashto Language:

The third year pass of Pashto courses is a step up from the first and second years as it moves students toward the vocabulary growth, grammar strengthening, and reading comprehension improvement. Students are expected to participate in oral exam type discussions to enhance their speaking skills.

 

4. Math:

The course in Grade 3 highlights at Math is about teaching kids to practice and master rather complex topics like multiplication, division, and the beginning of the fractions field. Students also get an introduction to geometry by learning about shapes and measurements. The unit explores problem-solving, logical thinking, and application of math concepts in a variety of different situations.

 

5. Painting:

Grade 3 students still have an artwork experience in the form of a painting but they are more advanced than the previous year. Art programs are available to students who show a particular talent and art course components that focus on both creativity and imagination. Students can communicate their ideas visually and increase their mastery of different art forms and colors through various lessons.

 

6. Calligraphy:

Calligraphy is not only about great and correct handwriting in the Grade 3 but this is a course that will be continuous. The basic aim of improving the porbeauty and accuracy of the children’s handwriting. They practice thus by writing longer passages and they work on making their script look visually pleasing.

 

7. Life Skills:

Life skills for the Grade 3 students are about development of independence, becoming responsible and building social interaction. Subject matters are simple personal organization, teamwork, communication, and emotional awareness. These lessons purvey skills to students which are the practical ones to be used daily in life and also learned in social contexts.
